LiuGong and Its Dealer Provide Support Myanmar Earthquake Relief
2025-03-29

On March 28, a powerful 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar’s Mandalay province, leaving many trapped and severely damaging roads, making rescue efforts even more challenging.
In response, LiuGong Asia-Pacific quickly assembled a relief task force, working closely with its local dealer, AUNG GYI GROUP OF COMPANY, to mobilize equipment, plan transportation, and coordinate personnel.
By dawn on March 29, LiuGong teams in Yangon, Naypyidaw, and Mandalay were fully mobilized. Final checks were completed on five 922E excavators, three 933E excavators, one TD15 bulldozer, and one 925LC long-arm excavator. Technicians worked through the night, and operators mapped out the safest and fastest routes.

“Myanmar is more than just a market to us—it’s a place we deeply care about. We must act quickly to help,” said the head of LiuGong’s Myanmar office. With that commitment, the team moved into action.
Rescue equipment is now en route, with teams ready to clear debris and restore roads. LiuGong is also partnering with local organizations to provide essential supplies, including tents, food, and water.

This rapid response underscores LiuGong’s global support network and strong coordination, reflecting our mission of “Extending Human Power.” We stand with the people of Myanmar, committed to saving lives and aiding in recovery.
