15 December, 2020, Liuzhou – Today was the annual LiuGong Global Conference in Liuzhou, Guangxi, China. This was a special and unique event with nearly 500 representatives including dealer representatives from almost 100 countries, customers, industry association delegates, business partners, LiuGong management team and staff attending the event both in person and online.

Every year LiuGong hosts the conference with its dealers and customers, sharing the results achieved in the past year and outlining the roadmap for the future. An annual tradition since 2003, LiuGong cherishes the precious moment as it brings together the global network and allows for international communication. 2020 has been a tough year, therefore LiuGong took the radically different approach to debut the conference online and in person allowing the special event to continue and for customers and employees to meet old friends and some new faces as well.

At the very beginning of the event, the LiuGong management team reviewed the 2020 Overseas Business performance and shared its strategy and plans for 2021. In the first 3 quarters of 2020, LiuGong’s operating income has increased by 18.9% year-on-year despite this year’s tough situation. During the event the LiuGong management team, along with its customers and dealers, revealed and agreed the sales goals for 2021.

As a global company, LiuGong always strives to be closely connected to its dealers and customers. This global conference goes beyond a corporate platform, it creates a valuable place where feedback, dialogue and collaboration take center stage which are immensely valuable to the future development.

During the conference, LiuGong invited 5 opinion leaders from the relevant industries to share their insights about the current affairs and topics which both LiuGong and customers care about. It was also a chance for the dealers to share their successful stories and best practices discovered over the year. This special year saw LiuGong adopt a new, digital first approach to unveil its new products through using Augmented Reality. This allowed viewers to explore LiuGong’s wide range of machines from the Red Dot award winning TD-16N to the powerful 990F excavator. It also allowed viewers who aren’t in Liuzhou to experience the same excitement and wonder as attendees.

In LiuGong’s continuous goal of globalization, the company has been continuously focusing on digital development, intelligent solutions, and providing customers with a global, comprehensive solution. During the event, LiuGong showcased its Equipment Intelligence Management System (iLink) which allowed users to see each machine’s precise working conditions, performance and location to provide valuable and actionable insight. LiuGong also revealed its smart mining solutions which offer owners valuable intelligence on mining machine operations. This allows owners to quickly and efficiently make decisions about production, safety, cost control, and management – all in a simple to understand and graphical display Every year, LiuGong present awards to their highest achieving dealers around the world and this year is no exception. We awarded dealers who have shown a consistent and high performance from October 2019 to September 2020.

Since LiuGong founded the overseas business in Morocco in 2003, almost 20 years has past and its global presence has been grown. Having delivered over 100,000 machines to more than 170 countries, LiuGong continues to go from strength to strength in being a leader for the global construction industry.
